– Crash program for prevention of mosquito borne diseases from April 1

Jaipur Medical and Health Department has started preparations for prevention and effective prevention of seasonal diseases. As part of the preparations, a crash program will be run in the state from April 1 to prevent and prevent mosquito-borne diseases. Besides, for effective prevention of diseases, nodal officers will be made in the concerned departments and a state level control room will be started in the Health Directorate.
Additional Chief Secretary of Medical and Health Department, Mrs. Shubhra Singh gave instructions in this regard in the inter-departmental meeting organized at Swasthya Bhawan for prevention of seasonal diseases. He said that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India has expressed the possibility of increased spread of dengue, malaria and other seasonal diseases this time. Keeping this in mind, all preparations should be made strictly to prevent seasonal diseases in the state.
Mrs. Singh directed that for the prevention of seasonal diseases, all the concerned departments should work together in full coordination and carry out the activities related to their respective departments effectively. All departments should prepare a checklist and review it weekly and ensure regular monitoring of dengue, malaria, scrub typhus, chikungunya and other seasonal diseases. In areas where more cases are reported, activities like surveillance, antilarva, source reduction, spray etc. should be done with special focus. Daily reporting of positive cases must be done on the IHIP portal of the Government of India to facilitate containment of the spread of the disease.
